After 5 years of marriage, my wife and I decided to have a child. When tests revealed my husband's low sperm count and that we couldn't conceive naturally, we consulted Dr. Serkan. After examination, the doctor said our chances were high with IVF treatment. After taking medication, my eggs were collected and combined with my husband's sperm. One of the 5 embryos formed was transferred to me, and now I have a 12-year-old child. Thank God...
I have polycystic ovary syndrome. I tried to get pregnant for 1.5 years but couldn't. After two failed insemination treatments, we met Dr. Serkan Oral. Our IVF treatment resulted in 12 embryos. Because my ovaries were overstimulated, the transfer was postponed and the embryos were frozen. A month later, 2 frozen embryos were transferred to me. We got the happy news 12 days later. My pregnancy was challenging, but thanks to Dr. Serkan, I went through this process comfortably. My son is now 6 years old.
When we decided to have a child, I was 42 and my husband was 55. We knew it would be difficult, but we always trusted Dr. Serkan. After two egg retrieval procedures, 2 embryos were obtained and frozen. Pregnancy occurred in the first transfer but the heart stopped at 8 weeks. Genetic testing was done on the remaining embryo as a problem was detected in the genetic examination. The procedure was canceled on the transfer day due to fluid in the uterus. I had lost all hope, but with my doctor's support, we tried again 2 months later. Now I'm experiencing the joy of holding my son, thanks to that embryo that was frozen and thawed 3 times.
I am a 30-year-old woman, married for 5 years and diagnosed with chocolate cysts. We consulted Dr. Serkan through my brother's acquaintance. My egg reserve was low. With medication treatment, 3 eggs were collected, 2 were fertilized, and the embryos were frozen. The cyst was removed through laparoscopic surgery. The transfer was done 1 month later, and we received the good news 12 days after.
Despite not being related to my spouse, we learned that we were carriers of a rare single gene. We met Dr. Serkan for genetic selection IVF treatment. In 2 separate egg retrievals, a total of 17 embryos were obtained, only 2 of which were genetically normal. The first transfer resulted in a negative outcome. 2. We achieved a twin pregnancy in the transfer. Our babies are now 1 year old.
After three unsuccessful attempts, we had lost hope. We met Dr. Serkan. IVF with genetic screening was recommended. In the first transfer, an ectopic pregnancy developed, and I had surgery. The 2nd attempt did not result in pregnancy. We transferred our last remaining genetically healthy embryo. Now there's 1 month left until delivery. Never lose hope.
When we applied for IVF, hydrosalpinx (fluid accumulation) was detected in my fallopian tubes. One tube was removed through surgery. The IVF process that began after the operation was very successful. I am currently pregnant, and we are excitedly continuing this process with Dr. Serkan.
We got married in 2022. We weren't planning on having children, but my egg reserve turned out to be low. Dr. Serkan suggested the embryo freezing option. We transferred in the first month and I got pregnant on the first try. We'll come back for a sibling in a few years. Love to Dr. Serkan and his team.
I had polycystic ovary syndrome and couldn't get pregnant. The first transfer didn't result in pregnancy. My doctor suggested freezing for 1 month and then transferring. With the transfer done 3 months later, I'm now pregnant. My son will be born soon. Thank you very much, doctor.
IVF treatment is suitable for couples who cannot have children naturally, individuals with low sperm or egg count and quality, women with blocked fallopian tubes, or unexplained infertility cases. A detailed examination is necessary to determine which method is right for you.
The treatment process usually starts on the 2nd or 3rd day of menstruation and is completed in about 15-20 days. During this time, egg development is monitored, and egg retrieval and embryo transfer procedures are performed.
The success rate depends on many factors such as age, egg reserve, embryo quality, and uterine health. With the personalized planning applied by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Serkan Oral, the success rate is quite high.
The egg retrieval procedure is performed under light anesthesia and no pain is felt. The transfer procedure is painless and usually takes a short time.
Rest is recommended for the first few days after transfer. Heavy exercise, stress, extremely hot baths should be avoided; you should adhere to your doctor's recommendations.
Instead of fresh transfer, some embryos are frozen and transferred later when the uterus is suitable. With this method, the success rate does not decrease, and it can even be more comfortable sometimes.
Embryos can be genetically screened before transfer in couples who have experienced recurrent miscarriages, those considering pregnancy at an advanced age, or those who are carriers of genetic diseases.
IVF can be applied to women up to 45 years old, and for men as long as sperm production continues even at advanced ages. However, the success rate may decrease as age progresses.
Additional procedures such as medications used, genetic testing, and embryo freezing process can affect the treatment cost. For detailed information, you can contact us.
If success is not achieved in the first attempt, a new plan is made by evaluating embryo quality, uterine structure, and genetic factors. The decision to continue treatment is determined by expert opinion.
