Occurs in the 6th week of pregnancy and disappears spontaneously after 6-12 weeks. In cases of excessive nausea and vomiting, multiple pregnancy, goiter or molar pregnancy should be considered. The cause of this nausea and vomiting is the pregnancy hormone called hCG, which rises rapidly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"urinary-disorders\"><\/span>Urinary disorders<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>In the first trimester, the growing uterus (womb) puts pressure on the bladder, causing the need to urinate frequently. These complaints disappear as the pregnancy progresses, but reoccur towards the end of pregnancy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"dont-get-tired-easily\"><\/span>Don&#8217;t get tired easily<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"amenorrhea-absence-of-menstruation\"><\/span>Amenorrhea (absence of menstruation)<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>A delay of at least 10 days should be sought for a reliable finding regarding pregnancy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"viewer-48kae63210\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"breast-changes\"><\/span>Breast changes<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"viewer-vyigx62322\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"mastodynia-pain-and-tenderness-in-the-breast\"><\/span>Mastodynia (pain and tenderness in the breast)<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-vyigx62322\">Occurs as a result of exposure of the breast tissue to hormonal stimulation. The glands around the nipple grow in the 6th-8th weeks of pregnancy due to hormonal stimulation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"viewer-cugtk63699\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"milk-discharge-from-the-nipple\"><\/span>Milk discharge from the nipple<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-cugtk63699\">It can start from the 16th week of pregnancy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"viewer-shqnz63668\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"secondary-breasts\"><\/span>Secondary breasts<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-shqnz63668\">May become apparent at the nipple line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"color-change-in-the-vaginal-chamber-wall\"><\/span>Color change in the vaginal (chamber) wall<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Occurs due to increased blood flow in the vagina. The vaginal wall becomes dark blue or pink-red. (Chatwick sign).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"viewer-tstr662337\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"skin-changes\"><\/span><strong>Skin changes<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"viewer-yntxn62339\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"chloasma\"><\/span>Chloasma<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-yntxn62339\">It is expressed as the mask of pregnancy. These are changes due to increased pigmentation on the face that become apparent after the 16th week of pregnancy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"viewer-dsbza62342\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"linea-nigra\"><\/span>Linea Nigra<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-dsbza62342\">It is a darkening of the skin observed in a linear pattern in the lower middle part of the abdomen. It occurs due to the increase in the effect of melanin stimulating hormone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"viewer-gapvl62345\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"striae-gravidarum-pregnancy-lines\"><\/span>Striae Gravidarum (Pregnancy lines)<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-gapvl62345\">These are lines that appear on the skin due to the destruction of collagen, which provides the structural condition of the skin during pregnancy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"viewer-r9kt862348\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"spider-telangiectasia\"><\/span>Spider Telangiectasia<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-r9kt862348\">These are red spider web-shaped formations on the skin. They are caused by increased vascularity on the skin surface due to high amounts of estrogen during pregnancy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Abdominal growth:<\/strong> In the 12th week of pregnancy, the uterus is just above the symphysis pubis, a bony structure in the lowest part of the anterior abdominal wall. In the following weeks, it continues to rise as the uterus grows, reaching the level of the navel in the 20th week of pregnancy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Changes in the uterus:<\/strong> During the first 12 weeks of pregnancy, the anterior-posterior diameter of the uterus increases and reaches approximately 8 cm.
