When irritation occurs in this area, it can easily cause bleeding. Having sexual intercourse during pregnancy is usually enough to cause this irritation. If you experience bleeding after having sexual intercourse, be sure to mention this to your doctor when you go. These bleedings may also be due to bleeding from the wound in the cervix, polyps in the cervix, and various masses in the vagina.
