In this case, the possibility of transmitting infections to others in the pool or sea increases. What women need to do in this regard is to take a shower immediately before entering the water and after leaving. This method is a good precaution to be taken to protect against infections. If a shower is not taken daily, the PH value of the vagina is negatively affected and the formation of infections increases. For this reason, showers should be done with shower gels or soaps with a neutral PH value. If a woman has a vaginal infection, discharge is observed. Tampon use: Using tampons during menstruation is an extremely healthy practice for women. These are also recommended by doctors. The reason for this is that tampons prevent blood from accumulating in the vagina and completely absorb the blood. However, tampons need to be changed frequently. Especially during periods of heavy bleeding, tampons should be changed every 3 hours. There is also an important point to consider when using tampons. The tampon should not be left inside for a long time. If this period is long, serious diseases may occur. Women can swim in the sea with tampons when necessary. However, the tampon should be changed immediately after leaving the sea.


Menopause: Women who have entered menopause in the summer experience more distress during this period. Hot flashes that occur in women due to this period increase with the heat. Along with this, palpitations, sweating, and mood swings are experienced. These effects are factors that will affect the quality of life. If these increase during the summer, a doctor should definitely be consulted. If women find it dangerous to use medication, support can be obtained from herbal products. Pregnancy: Pregnant women need to be more careful when the summer heat arrives. Pregnant women should consume at least 3 liters of fluid during this period. Balancing fluid intake will prevent hemorrhoids, constipation and urinary tract infections. Sun exposure should not be avoided during the hours when the sun's rays are at their strongest. In order to prevent brown spots from forming on the face and abdomen due to the sun, care should be taken to protect from the sun during these days. To ensure this, creams with a high protection factor can be used, and hats and sunglasses can be worn. Care should be taken to ensure that clothing is light-colored and cotton. Another problem that can affect women during this period is urinary tract infections caused by wet swimsuits. To prevent cystitis, one should not stay wet. This problem can occur in women because the tube that carries urine is shorter. If left untreated, it can spread to the kidneys and cause more serious problems.
